1, St Mary's Hospital

St Mary's also offers a wide range of private paediatric treatment services, including a world-renowned paediatric haematology unit. The Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital has a world-renowned obstetrics and gynaecology department. At the Lindu Wing, the hospital offers consultant-led care, which means that the woman's designated consultant is responsible for the entire pregnancy, birth and postnatal follow-up.

The midwife-led option is recommended for women who are expected to have a normal birth, whether or not it is a first birth. The woman will first get to know the whole midwife team who can provide guidance whenever the woman needs help. During labour, a midwife will accompany the mother throughout the birth and continue to provide assistance for several weeks afterwards.
